Hi there! I just interviewed a Registered Early Childhood Educator for the blog and she gave a couple of strategies for helping your child develop their speech! Check it out here: http://blog.mamasoup.ca/doing-childcare-right-an-interview-with-a-registered-early-childhood-educator

I'm new. I was trying to follow this, but i think i accidentally flagged it! My 2.5 yr old step daughter just started speech therapy. No other delays. Is now up to about 10 words.

We've never used speech therapy but I've heard other mums say it helped. I love the idea of singing too!

Hi Chris. I don't know if the ECE suggested just making language part of your daily routine rather than as a lesson. Reward every try but do wait patiently for that try. The best language builder for tods is songs. Sing old MacDonald and ask what animal they would like next etc.
